‘NextUp’ Energy Forum on 2/11 Will Explore Green Hydrogen’s Versatility, Marketability

BizFed Institute is proud to convene energy industry leaders with diverse areas of expertise for a cutting-edge energy forum focused on better understanding green hydrogen, its potential as a reliant energy option, and its versatility across various sectors.

The free virtual session is the first forum in BizFed Institute’s “NextUp: Exploring Reliant Energy Options” series. The two-panel discussion is open to the public and will run from 9:15 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Friday, February 11.

Geoff Eisenberg, partner at the Ecosystem Integrity Fund, will act as keynote speaker.

Janice Lin, founder and president of the Green Hydrogen Coalition, will moderate the forum’s first panel focused on green hydrogen’s role in energy supply and distribution processes. Panelists include Louis Ting, Director of Power Planning and Development for the Los Angeles Department of Water of Power; Viraf Soroushian, Director of 8minute Solar Energy; and Neil Navin, Vice President of Clean Energy for Southern California Gas Company.

Josh Bledsoe, counsel in the Environment, Land, and Resources Department at Latham & Watkins, LLP will moderate the second panel focused on green hydrogen infrastructure. Panelists include Erik Neandross, CEO of Gladstein, Neandross & Associates; Rick Bohan, Senior Vice President of Sustainability at Portland Cement Association; Eric Guter, Vice President of Hydrogen for Mobility Solutions at Air Products; and Tanya Peacock, Senior Director of Government Affairs and Policy for Bloom Energy.

BizFed Institute Chair Jonathan Parfrey will deliver closing remarks.
