Follow-up work is what ensures follow-through success. That’s why we’re convening another installment of our Regional Broadband Workshop, hosted in partnership with LA/OCRBC. The free virtual workshop on Friday, September 16 is a reboot – but far from a repeat – of last year’s event. We’ll track the progress of public-private projects we unveiled last October and deconstruct new broadband challenges facing businesses, internet service providers, nonprofit organizations, government entities, and educational institutions. The list of stakeholders is lengthy because digital connectivity shapes how we engage in all areas of our daily lives.

Closing the Digital Divide is the first step toward narrowing opportunity gaps. Without reliable broadband access, members of underserved communities face hurdles applying for (or even finding information about how to apply for) jobs, aid programs, and other services.
